Compass Portal – Electronic Reporting System
University Lands is implementing a major software project that will streamline your production reporting, royalty payments process, and provide you with additional tools for managing your University Lands’ assets. We are calling the new tool Compass.
The vision for the Compass Portal is to become the one-stop shop for conducting business with University Lands. The compass name and logo were designed to represent the many directions this portal will provide as future enhancements are added. Compass will take us where we want to go.
A key to the successful implementation of the Compass Project is effective communication with UL Customers. The UL Project Team is committed to keeping you informed about the planned changes and ensuring your questions are answered.
We know that change is never easy, so we need your help to ensure a successful implementation. There are many ways to communicate with the University Lands’ team, and we plan to share information with you all in a variety of ways, too.
During the coming months leading up to the Compass go-live, we will continue to provide more project details and status updates via this website and a newsletter publication. Please check this site for updates and news you can use.
We are also offering a Compass FAQ process. When you have questions regarding the Compass project, tool, or related processes, simply send an e-mail to ULNews@utsystem.edu. The project team will respond to your message and post the question and answer on the website for all users to access. The team is actively monitoring this mailbox and will make sure your submissions are answered!
